Conqueror of Shamballa is my favorite anime film largely because of nostalgia — I got into FMA at a formative time in my life and the series itself has stuck with me in the time since. But I also believe that it's an great conclusion to the first FMA anime, and it's one that gave me all of the emotional closure I needed from the series's ending. Even now, a good ten years later, I'm still very emotionally attached to it.
