about the music

While the Final Fantasy series is most well-known for its incredible gameplay and immersive storylines, the music is an unforgettable part of the experience. As soon the prelude starts, you know you're about to hear some of the best music ever made for video games.

The majority of the soundtracks in the series were composed by Nobuo Uematsu, primarily in the earlier games. In later games, and in most of the side series, other composers, such as Masashi Hamauzu and Hitoshi Sakimoto have been brought in. Many of the songs have been rereleased on arranged and orchestral albums, as well as performed in live concerts.

If you'd like to learn more about the music in the series, you can read about it on Wikipedia or the Final Fantasy wiki.
