Full disclosure: I've never played League of Legends. I only have the most cursory knowledge of it. I watched Arcane purely because it looked up my alley, not from any attachment to the franchise. Thankfully, this didn't diminish my enjoyment at all: Arcane works wholly on its own thanks to its excellent writing, which establishes the world of Piltover and Zaun expertly, alongside instantly memorable characters.

Arcane is one of those series that you know is a masterpiece before you even finish it. I was completely hooked on every episode, and watched each one with a friend as they came out. As if the story wasn't compelling enough, the animation is an absolute work of art: each frame is unbelievably beautiful.

Site name comes from Vi's line in season one, which I might change later, but I think it fits the overall themes well enough. Background is a texture by subtlepatterns.
